Bix Produce to Carry Local Roots Living Butter Lettuce

Local Roots is excited to announce that Bix Produce will be carrying our living butter lettuce! Bix serves restaurants, hotels, educational institutions, and food service distributors throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin, North Dakota, Illinois, and Iowa. The Bix facility in Little Canada, Minnesota has grown to over 190,000 square feet and is a state-of-the-art packing and processing facility. In the Summer of 2023, Sysco’s specialty produce company FreshPoint acquired BIX Produce. In doing so BIX gained a wealth of knowledge, and more importantly, a larger network allowing continued growth.
